Camping trips are fantastic. You get to enjoy the outdoors. Relax with nature and be with friends and family. Very little suffering. Except for your skin.
This past weekend I had the pleasure to go out and camp. Camped out on Figueroa Mountain. This place is about 30 minutes from Los Olivos. Near Neverland Ranch. I didn't see it myself.
Anyway. Got out to camp Friday afternoon. I always do enjoy camping. An opportunity to unwind, disconnect and refresh yourself.
The trip itself was fun. I had the pleasure of going out with friends and we did a lot of lounging. Welcomed relaxation every day of the trip. Although it was 2 days.
One thing none of us enjoyed was the number of nats and bugs we had to deal with. Plus we all forgot bug spray. Out of the 6 people, no one took any.
As you can imagine when I got home on Sunday I looked at my arms and could not believe the number of bug bites. Both my arms and legs got attacked. And I was itchy af all weekend.
The first shower when I got back was magical.
Not only magical but beyond dirty. I scrubbed twice and the water still looked dark. After that first shower, I then used our Sugar Scrubs to exfoliate the entire body.

The big lotion bars have lasted me upwards of 2 months or more sometimes. Because you only rub the bar on your skin or use very little of it it will last a long time.
We recommend lathering this lotion bar on after your shower.
Your skin is still warm from the shower and that will help melt the lotion bar right onto your skin.
You can use the bar as a spot treatment or as a healer and protector.
At the moment. I am using this lotion bar to heal all these bug bites from my camping trip this past weekend.
