Moisturizing…for men...

Welcome back to another short edition of the sweet word. This week I want to take some time to talk about the importance of sealing moisture into your skin. I just feel like it's not talked about enough amongst men. I've had some exposure to men who do know how important it is thanks to our in person markets and all the people we get to talk to. But for the most part we just like to shower and put some lotion on and call it a day.

I felt this exact same way until I had to start researching these topics to help Zafira develop these visionary products we provide. Before undergoing all this research I can tell you I would rarely ever use lotion, never body butter or anything else meant to moisturize and protect your skin. Sure my knees were ashy here and there but for the most part I got by just fine. Plenty of long pants and sleeves. lol kidding it wasn't that bad. And if it was an issue I have an issue with all these people who never said anything to me about it. How dare you!

It took Sweet Luxury Body Line to snap some sense into me finally. And I'm glad I got it. My skin loves me for it too. My one regret is having waited this long to stop trying to think like a macho man and instead treat my skin with some love.

There are times when I needed a little extra love. Like when my skin was dehydrated and the backs of my feet were getting hard to the touch. You know those rough hands and feet men are supposed to have. Yeah that's not for me. That's where body butter and beeswax lotion bars came in to save my day.

I use them because they help seal in moisture to my skin by leaving a protective layer while my skin absorbs all the rich goodness from these two products. I started using the beeswax lotion bars on my elbows knees and feet and I swear to you, all that discoloration from playing football is gone. Gone. Instead I have smooth soft skin. And the body butter after the shower makes me feel smooth to the touch all day. I feel like I'm on a good one when my skin feels this good.

But what I was trying to get at this whole time is the importance of using products that seal the moisture in your skin. Its a wonderful aid for your skins health. Can you really say that about that lotion that is probably made with alcohol that instead of sealing moisture it's dehydrating you faster than the Sahara?! No you probably can't. But I can say that about Shea butter and beeswax lotion bars. Fellas. Treat your skin right. You owe it to yourself.
